Alex has dedicated his career to supporting families and small businesses, and notes that Vermont’s small business entrepreneurs create opportunities for self-employment and new jobs. He has worked in a range of positions, including financial analysis and securities. Alex most recently comes to Community Capital from Community Connections, the largest provider of childcare in Washington County.

David Parker

David has over 30 years’ experience owning and operating Subway sandwich franchises in Central Vermont and New Hampshire. His career has given him extensive knowledge in accounting, financial analysis, commercial credit, and human resource management. David is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and currently teaches QuickBooks training courses statewide.

A Success Story: Noelle VanHendrick and Eric Hendrick, Zpots and Vnoelle, Brookline

Noelle and Eric make artisan pottery that is kiln-fired on site at their studio. Eric shapes most of the pottery, while Noelle adorns the pieces with paintings, drawings and poetry. The couple also creates jewelry such as the “She Poem” leather bracelet, and printed textiles made with sustainable materials that become pillows and scarves. The mission of Zpots and Vnoelle is one of craft and inspired vision. With the help of Community Capital of Vermont, Noelle and Eric have increased the resiliency of their business and extended their marketing reach by exhibiting at regional craft shows.
